I'm sitting here smiling at myself. Just enjoying the fact that our LID is actually part of the rumors. I can't allow myself to think that we might receive our referral this month. No way! Can't go there. Too many dissapointments in the past. But, it is very exciting to see us close enough to be rumored about. We're not there yet folks but we have to enjoy every positive moment that comes along. Here's a direct quote from the "Rumor Queen" site. One of the medium sized but better known agencies told a client that they expect the next batch to go through June 16th.
This was emailed from the person's real email address, not a freebie account, which gives it some credibility (i.e. not a prankster).
Still, this falls into that "I'm afraid to believe this" category. We've gone from hearing "maybe only half of May 31st" to "all the way to June 16th". Usually rumors work the other way, start out good and then get progressively worse.
If they get through June 16th then the 12 month thing could happen.

I'm really trying to have fun with it and focus on the fact that we are close. We might still be two months away from a referral ~ but we don't have a LID of 3/2006 either!
